Contribute, Serve and Make a Difference

Uncategorized No Comments

This post is dedicated to the ways we can make a difference in the world by paying attention to ourselves and finding new ways to contribute to mankind. You may be considering retiring from a job you have held for a long time and has dictated your life and schedule.  You may be seeking new ways to find fulfillment and joy.  You may be wanting to improve your relationship with someone.  Let’s work together.

Changing yourself, your community and the world is a difficult task to do alone.  Confucius said “If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. If you teach a man how to fish, you feed him for a lifetime.”  What are your solutions to giving and serving the world?  Do you know?

Let’s create a dialogue of interesting ways to look at the world and create change in our environment and our world.  Let’s seek how we can make a difference in our communities and what activities are available for us and others.

What interesting thought or activity have you done in your life that can be expanded to others and make a difference?

What skill do you have that could help someone else?

What do you feel passionate about?

Join me in creating a message for all.  Leave your comments below about how you want to change the world.  What are your dreams for the future?

Finding JOY by taking ACTION

Uncategorized No Comments

Are you open to finding joy in your life?

So often, we spend our days looking for that little part of life that will bring us the joy that we are seeking.  We know what our routine is for the day.  It may or may not include going to a job or filling the day with chores that use up the time available.  It may be paying bills, or shopping.  Whatever it is that we do on a daily basis, are we truly happy and finding the passion of life?

Are  you open to the possibility of what life has to offer? Are you open to yourself? Whether it is leaving that job and finding one that brings you joy, or attracting a new partner or relationship, there is always the possibility that you can truly find a sense of urgency by being open to joy.

Learning how to take the appropriate action steps for finding a fulfilling life is not something that is taught in high school or college.  Learning to take action is often learned by actually doing something that will move you forward to a new place or space in your life.  It often is accompanied by fear, and that is a good thing.  Fear moves us to a new level and often guides us in making changes in our lifes.

Once you tackle fear and open your heart to the intention of finding all the joy that is possible in your life, you  will begin to feel the ease of making a change.  You will feel powerful, authentic, relaxed and peaceful in that state of joy.  AND you do not have to be alone.   By aligning yourself with a coach you can begin to take action that will bring you JOY.  AND when you seek a strong intention of finding JOY, you will feel the authenticity of YOU.

If you are ready to take the plunge towards JOY in your life,  send me a comment with your questions or thoughts.

How we tend to threaten ourselves!!!

Uncategorized No Comments

We do all sorts of statements to ourselves that threaten our decisions.

When you want to make a change in your career, relationships, or life you might have some fear that looks like this:

1. I might make a mistake.

2. Someone will criticize me.

3. I don’t want to impose.

4.  I can’t do it perfect.

5.  I might step on someone’s idea and they won’t like it.

6.  They might leave.

All of these are common when we want to make decisions in our lifes.  The answers to  these questions may look like this:

1.  Mistakes are never created unless you take action.  You will sure make a mistake when you do a new action.

2.  Criticism and feedback are the best learning experiences.  You might find it useful.

3.  We don’t live in a glass bubble.  You are imposing whenever you have an interaction with someone.  Just being  in their presence may be an imposition.

4.  What is perfect?  Whenever we desire perfection we will find imperfection.

5.  Competition is good.  Your action may be someone elses idea, and what has been done.  Yes, this indicates the need for more.

6.  You will survive.  If he/she decides to leave, they maybe should leave.  You will survive and learn from the change.

We all have limiting beliefs about change. When we can honestly switch our thinking about these beliefs, real growth will occur.
