How we tend to threaten ourselves!!!

Uncategorized No Comments

We do all sorts of statements to ourselves that threaten our decisions.

When you want to make a change in your career, relationships, or life you might have some fear that looks like this:

1. I might make a mistake.

2. Someone will criticize me.

3. I don’t want to impose.

4.  I can’t do it perfect.

5.  I might step on someone’s idea and they won’t like it.

6.  They might leave.

All of these are common when we want to make decisions in our lifes.  The answers to  these questions may look like this:

1.  Mistakes are never created unless you take action.  You will sure make a mistake when you do a new action.

2.  Criticism and feedback are the best learning experiences.  You might find it useful.

3.  We don’t live in a glass bubble.  You are imposing whenever you have an interaction with someone.  Just being  in their presence may be an imposition.

4.  What is perfect?  Whenever we desire perfection we will find imperfection.

5.  Competition is good.  Your action may be someone elses idea, and what has been done.  Yes, this indicates the need for more.

6.  You will survive.  If he/she decides to leave, they maybe should leave.  You will survive and learn from the change.

We all have limiting beliefs about change. When we can honestly switch our thinking about these beliefs, real growth will occur.
